Rucksack

Im after a fishing rucksack that I can attach my light rod to the side of (3x3 foot sections) that is good quality and has plenty room for my lunch, bait etc inside. Not too big, want it for a bit of rock hopping this summer. Any recommendations? Or what do you find is best way to transport rods + gear.

Im on the look out aswell m8. I have looked at savage gear equipment and also the web site art of fishing they did have a few items for transport of gear and rods etc hope that helps ;-)

Could have a look in the outdoors shops for a hiking one and just strap your rod with bungees?

Clas Ohlson in town stock a few walking bags. I picked a lovely one up for my cycling commute to work, some would turn into a nice little fishing rucksack. They are fairly cheap and there is a sticky for a discount off a Nesa member!!

HPA do something called a Fortress that may do you, it's got plenty of compartments, and 3 tie thingies that you can slip a rod into and sal****er proof zippers.

Get yourself a quiver and a salt rucksack quiver holds all your rods plus rod stand and ruck sack for the rest, ideal for rock hopping as still have both your hands free.
