Roker pier 10/1/14 claxheugh 11/1/14

Fished roker pier yesterday morning upto high water targeting whiting, no whiting showed up but plenty flats, had 4 dabs and 12 flounders on rag and macky.

Fished claxheugh this morning using frozen runnydown and macky. Fished last 3 hours of flood and half an hour of the ebb. Lots of good flounders upto 1lb 8oz. Lost count how many i had but fish almost every cast including 4 double shots. Really enjoyable session on the light gear. Having another session either tonight or tomorrow.

Just down river from south hylton in the river wear.
Just go down south hylton bank, theres a pub on the right hand side about half way down, turn right and just follow the road down through the houses until you come to the river and the boathouse. Fish anywhere along the railed area. I'll be fishing out of a silver primera. Best fished last 3 hours of flood and first of ebb.
