Rays and dogs

Alright lads,
does anyone know where I can go for some sport for rays and dogfish. Iv never caught a ray so any advise would be great. Iv seen a few reports from Whitehaven but not sure on the best tides to fish.

cant help with tides but west seems to be best,good luck

silloth prom good. mackerel or whiting with worm best bait. half tide up to high water should produce the rays.
