Quiet today

Well i got back from offshore on mon night nd today was the earliest me n daz could get out due to the winds the water was really dirty so no good for shadding so we went wrecking not a good idea what with the high tides any way we got a couple small whiting 4 small tommys daz saved the day with a 6lb cod we are currently on the earl of zetland rehydrating ha ha tight lines

It was worth a try. What were the conditions like, the sea looked lumpy this evening with enough swell to make Whitley beach fishable?

Yeh first thing lumpy as but it turned into just a lazy roll not too bad at all really few seals about a lot of bird activity especially gannets so mavkerel must still be around there was a dead black backed gull and a skua was picking it clean
