posting fishing rods

I use parcel monkey for a quote put dimensions and weight in there cheap as mate I've used inter parcel and mainly city link for reliability just make sure it's well wrapped bud

Ive used interparcel a few times. Just get a carpet tube from your local carpet shop and pack it well with bubble wrap or newspaper making sure you keep the rings away from the blank and it doesnt move about.

The other things to be wary of lads when posting rods is to read the couriers terms and conditions of what you can and can't send as a lot of company's will take your rods but when you read the terms they state your not covered for damage but are covered if it goes missing so if you send your £400 zippy through some of them and it gets snapped in half your onto nowt even if its been insured.the other thing when booking make sure you have the correct sizes and weights as any claim will be voided if its even slightly out.

your right mick it is a bit of a mine field they ,ve got you always and i used to work for a couriers and the post office and i,ve seen 1st hand how parcels are treat nowt but a worry

Always used Interparcel, never had a problem. 2,5 metre length tubes and always arrived safely, never any breakages but always ensure the insurance on offer covers cost of the rods being sent.
