Poor at Parton and twin steps

Fished twin steps at high tide this morning and never had even a bite. When the tide started to ebb i tried different parts of the beach, ending up towards parton and again not even a sniff never mind a bite.... there was lots of weed about first thing but then it cleared up.
Will have to try somewhere on Wednesday night high tide, so any suggestion would be appreciated
Baits used:- Rag and Squid
