Peace & quiet catch report 26/5/15

Well after weeks of trying to get out with work commitments and a failed effort last Monday, I finally got out. With not getting out till late afternoon decided just to fish the hard ground around the can rather than going out to a wreck. First drop and straight into fish, definitely made the right decision to fish the hard ground. First fish on the old faithful orange shad. Next, thought i'd try out the new pirks I bought. Picked out the pink and white with a red squid on the end. First drop again straight into fish. It was fish after fish with it after that with it. Ended up with 13 good size cod. Fishing went off after spotting a pod of dolphins just off the can. What a lovely sight, flat sea sun out and dolphins swimming around the boat. Great evening out. Hope it's not to long till back out again. Sorry no pictures, phone was a no go.

Horay, pleased you managed to finally get out amongst them.
Excellent bag of fish my friend and in a short length of time.
And some Dolphins to make the day, doesn't get a lot better.
Well done Mark, hope this is the start to your season.
