Travelling up to Loch Etive tonight for my annual trip (2 weeks freedom from Her Majestys Prison Nissan) Up there for about 5 days with my son (his first trip there) targeting the spurs and thornies. Wasnt sure if he was going to be fit enough to come a few weeks ago after being in hospital with viral meningitis which caused a slight stroke and also got blood poisoning, thankfully hes made a great recovery.
Weather forcast not great up there with some rain expected, on the plus side that should keep the midgies at bay.
Target for me this year is a double figure thornie. Be trying lots of different areas all along the north side. Hopefully have some good pics to post when i return. Ill try to put a catch report up each day im there.
Setting off about midnight to avoid the holiday traffic.
