Fished over a two leg competition held on the Wear and the Tyne. The combined total number of fish points wins.
LEG ONE - GLASS CENTER 8th June, 2014.
7 Anglers fished a pegged catch and release match where everything measuring 18cm or bigger scored points as per the SAMF score chart. There was fish from the off, mainly small stuff but plenty of them. Only one decent size 40cm codling which fell to Steve Foster to take biggest fish. Biggest bag went to Gareth Gardner with 6 more fish than his closest rivel.

LEG TWO - COPTHORN HOTEL NEWCASTLE 6th July.
Fished two up and two down. Disappointing number of fish showing over a 4hr match with nothing being caught until after the first hour. Only 6 flounder and one tommy codling caught in four hours which made no difference to the overall winner Gareth Gardner who had a commanding lead. Well done. Biggest fish today was shared between Steve Foster and Steve Elliott with a 30cm flounder each.
