Happy with the result today, Chelsea never looked their best but we also never let them play, 3 points i never expected us to get as i said 4-0 lose before the game started. Just wish we could start to be consistant and i must say Cisse is an empty shirt this season.

26 more points thats all i am thinking about still, got bloody soaked today for the full 90mins and it was like winter...made me remember why i dont do winter fishing....i hate the cold :)
 
Was a cracking result and allround good performance mate.

I agree with your sentiments about looking for safety first, shows how much we have fallen, as a club in general. :(
 
Great performance and unexpected result for the toon army just makes you wonder why today and against Liverpool played very well and then didn't turn up against the enemy ( maybe the French foreign legion don't under stand what it means )

Not wanting to cause an argument mate but he said

"We were not aggressive enough in possession. We deserved to lose. I'm not sure if Newcastle deserved to win, but we definitely deserved to lose"

That's probably as much of a compliment you can expect from him to be honest, but I think its a begrudged compliment like.

Cheers keith, It was a very good game, just got back in, wasn't expecting that at all, great work rate and team effort , mourhinio is class like , the whole stadium was singing sit down mourinhio, so he kept standing but gave a wave, I like that kind of thing.
Great 3 points and well deserved, we outplayed Chelsea for large parts of the match! Who'd have thunk it! pity it wasn't the same result last week! I can go out tonight in a good mood and celebrate rather than drowned my sorrows like last week!, I'll leave that to the Sunderland fans.

Yer i just watched football round up and heard Sunderland had 2 players sent of..still 1-0 lose not bad playing 45mins with 9men and the keeper injured.

Spurs away next weekend and cant see us getting anything from that, i hope to be strapped into a 150lb+ skate when that match is being played.
 
funny thing though... It seemed very very quiet at SJP. was in the shop today (and when am I not) and can see SJP out of the door. Usually when we score, you can hear it even over the music, but hardly heard a thing.

we were poor today until them 2 muppets got sent off am thinking if we never scored there goal for them we could of got a point out of that game lucky Hull are ****. :D:D they won and got booed off :D

He aint team captain.

He is a liability but I thought his red was a bit harsh, Elmo rolling about like he'd been shot didn't help. One of their players, Bradley I think, only got booked for a tackle just as bad.

The other red was a disgrace, a cowardly tackle, hope he never plays for us again.

That's cattermoles first red for a while Keith, at least he's up for the fight,and he will put a Shift in , i like him, always thought he was captain? Avnt seen the game yet
