New PB Cod 6lb 12oz

Fished a local beach mark tonight.
Got there at about 4.30 and it was a slow start, with the first fish coming at 6, a 40cm codling to straight lug.
A few casts later and no more fish so I decided to increase my bait size. I lashed on a big lug/razor cocktail and sent it back out. A short time later I had a small knock followed by a massive slack liner, I reeled into it and knew it was a good fish and a few minutes later it was on the beach. I could tell straight away that it beat my previous best of 5lb. It was weighed on the beach and confirmed when I got home - 6lb 12oz.:D
Fished on for another couple of hours and had another 40cm codling last cast at 9pm.

So a new PB of 6lb 12oz and PB bag of 10lb.
