new camera. info please

iv\'e just bought a new fuji finepix digital camera and wonder if any of you lads know if its a good one or have i been screwed, i paid £128 but the camera cost £99, looks good in the pics and description sounds good also.
any info would be greatful.

Is that the SLR style ,ate ,the black one ,I had the s3000 a while back ,now got the f440 ,you\'ll not go wrong with these and it sounds a good price if it\'s the one I\'m thinking of.

yep thats the one i think you are talking about, if you look on ebay under digital cameras then type fuji s500 it should bring it up there seem to be a few up for sale from the states. cheers for the posative comments steve. its about time i had a decent camera to take some good pics with also it would be nice to get some good concert photos for a change, without a zoom taking pics at gigs is hopeless unless you are at the front

i was looking at the s6000 as well but i cant justify paying to much and i\'m not the best photogapher in the world so the s5000 will do for now. the range of the finepix looks good and have great write ups

i thought i would look at buying a case for it off ebay, they are selling them at £3.99 which is not bad at all until you look at the postage................£9.99, what a rip off. i did find one with postage included at £8.99

your in the price range of the next class of camera nearly at 300 quid, Nikon d50\'s are getting huge price drops at the mo... got one for £329 last week for tracey with a 18-55 nikkor lens
