caught it on a redgill evolution 178mm dont really bother with plugs anymore these lures rarely get snagged as most of the fishing is done in 18 inches to 3 feet of water and are a hell of alot cheaper!

How do you rig up your redgills mate? Had a couple of pollock on them this year but never a bass.....
they are self weighted 17gms i use 2 to 3ft 25lb fluorocarbon leader swivel one end link clip other to 20lb braid.

Ah, mine arent self weighted, sounds like a better idea.... will have to order some of them! lol
thats a cracking fish my pb bass is 6lb and that was a canny fight on fresh crab well done m8 nice to see
