NESA Badges.

Marksy,we had a similar question in the RNLI section,think it was from myself,the problem NESA would have is that there would have to be a minimum order for caps,T-shirts etc etc,someone would have to pay for them then hope they would sell,my opinion is that nobody would like to take that commitment on unless they were assured they would get shot of them.
As far as I\'m aware NESA has no funds/kitty other than the charity account
Maybe if someone is in the trade they knock some up free of charge.
Buy a plain cap/beanie and stitch it on

Ya right, Alan......we don\'t have any money set aside for anything like that. EVERYTHING we make goes into the RNLI account.
The badges currently available were kindly done for us by Titan and they are NOWHERE NEAR breaking even in the manufacturing costs.
I\'ve been told that 1,500 were produced and so far, around 500 have been sold.......in 4 years !!
As for an individual taking on such a risk.......it wouldn\'t be me.....lol
As Alan says, Marksy......buy a badge and you can sew it onto a cap, jumper, T-shirt, smock.....owt you like.

Sorry if my last post seemed a bit \"sharp\"......wasn\'t meant to be that way.
I\'d love to be able to have various items of \"NESA goodies\" for people to buy.
Things like caps, T-shirts, mugs, mousemats, drinksmats, etc.....the problem is ££££.
I recently asked a local company how much it would cost to get a few mugs made up with the NESA badge on........the unit cost was something like £4.00, but the minimum order I\'d have to place with them was 100. As you\'ll appreciate, the initial outlay for the mugs (£400) would have to have been covered by myself........no way could I afford to do that....especially as there\'s no guarantee that all the mugs would be bought.

you can get 4 for that doon the toon and stitch your own badges on
