Hi lads, suffer terrible with cold feet. bought some thermal boots which have a synthetic type boot lining. Kept feet warm for a few sessions but the constant pulling on and off has started to split the thermal liners and my feet are cold again. Was looking at the Vass socks on web, I have Vass waders and think they are quality. the Vass socks look like the same type of material as the others I have. was thinking neoprene would be stronger. just looking for some opinions please. Do the neoprene keep your feet warm? any help would be appreciated.
thanks

I bought Neoprene socks and they didn't make any difference- still got cold feet!
invested in some hot socks after reading something on here. they've got a tog rating of 2.3 and i've been wearing them today in this snow and the feet are as warm as toast. Got mine from Sports soccer at £5.99 a pair or two pairs for £10. these seem to do the trick!!

used to get cold feet myself untill i bought some muckboots best boots i have ever worn comfortable and easy to walk in aswell well worth the money

I suffer cold feet too bud , not anymore. Have a look online at the Devold website for merino wool socks, very helpful tips section on the site for keepin ya feet warm too. Expensive but worth every hard earned penny. I used to do a bit of mountain climbing and they worked in the most extreme conditions. Brill. Hope that helps

Try bridgedale walking socks. They are excellent, they have a membrane that stops the cold coming through your boots into your feet.

As said earlier.. No need for thermal socks or similar if you invested in a decent pair of muckboots. Very warm and very comfy.
