Mid Tyne today..pb out of the river

And to think I nearly never went fishing...... had a quick rake around for a few peelers today in the river and found fourteen softies.... so not having a great deal of bait just headed local.

Result a new pb from the river at 6lb 8 ounces and four other keepers to!

Cheers lads..the tyne is fishing better than a norwegian fjord lol...actually I remember reading somewhere that the route the tyne takes around Newcastle to the river mouth was carved by ice in the ice age. A random fact for you.
