You forgot about the radio\'s blahhing on and the little tw+ts on BMX bikes riding up and doon the pier all day. Were you on the end Jim? Unfortunately even if the lads are shoaling IMHO the closer you are to the end of the pier the better your chances, Unfortunately, the closer you are to the end of the ....blah The more lead you have to dodge, pleadings for spare kit (You got a rod and reel mister I can use? bless em) and sometimes the glare of the massed Shellsuits can cause permanent eye damage.

Lmfao that must be Roker pier, you would struggle on Blyth pier, though i have seen one along there before, scooters that is Jim.Can live with the little tw Sorry darlings with the cort owt cort owt. What I didn\"t like was the slightly older tw sorry darlings flying up the pier at about forty miles an hour on the motor scooters. Not bothered about them taking a hook or spinner or fly in the neck, they could have snapped my line. God love them.
Jim.
I Alan I wouldn\"t like to see a bike go along Blyth pier at 40 mph. mate lmao.
That must have been a big hook m8 if it went from his neck to his eye, those little charvers were probably trying to catch a boat with a grappling hook lolon about hooks in the neck, got told a bloke came of sunderland pier a day or two ago with one in the neck burried right up to the eye, blood all over him.sunderland pier can be a very dangerous place this time of year.they must be trying to get into the guiness book of records with the most anglers in a twenty foot area.one day went there thought to myself too many people on the drum fished further down during the 2 hours i fished saw at least another twenty people go on none came off, they were casting over the heads of other people not for me.
