fished blyth pier sunday mate had a 2 1/2 pound plaice i got 2 small flattys ...tried for mackerel but nothing showed and none caught a few ppl caught a few sandeels and small coalies ...the best fun we had was watching the little sprats swimming next to the pier and being chased by the sandeels n coalies ..trying again on saturday if i can get out that is

Well, hope the weather is a bit better this week as I have promised to take a friend down to try for some Mackeral. Bored out of my head today not even going out tonight. Nothing on the television, feeling almost suicidal after watching some of that Germany game. Wish me filleting knife was sharpl lol.

Well today (Monday) I am taking my grandaughter to the coast for our lunch. Going to have a look to see if it has flattened off. If it has I am taking the spinning rod down on Tuesday to catch me some Mackeral. If it hasn\"t I am taking the spinning rod down on Tuesday to see if I can catch some Pollack. Either way I will be out on Tuesday.

Jim,fished Blyth pier last night,there\'s was only the odd mackerel caught but there is plenty of coalies (some in size) taken on spinners and daylights,there\'s also lots of undersize Herron.

Well back already no fish almost didn\"t walk onto the pier when I got there. Too much wind and too much colour on the water. Never mind there\"s always next time.

I thought it was you that I spoke to to-day at the begining of the pier, ah well got it wrong. I was at that end about 11 o\'clock until around 12 ish.
there was 2 on the end 2 just gone on next to the gates and a couple near the bend, and a couple coming off. Now which one was you.
