I asked Stephen if he had room for a little un

) today, he said he did but it would be a short trip as he had an appointment at 10.30am.
The short trip turned out to be a blessing because by 9.0am I think we'd all had enough.
We set off at 4.30am with 6 on board including 2 novice anglers who only had 1 rod between them. Fished a few inshore wrecks with crab and picked a few up, we then tried a few wrecks further off before Stephen found one alive with cod. It didn't matter what went down, bait, daylites, pirks or shads they all can back up with cod shortly after hitting the bottom.
Fantastic stuff
We were back on the moorings by about 9.30am with 110 cod after returning a lot of smaller ones and a couple of pollack.
