Lynemouth and Blyth Beach 1/12

Started at lynemouth next to the pipe but gave up along with a few others after 3 casts due to weed and left for blyth beach.
Started at the middle toilets but the weed was to much and ended up at the north end just down from the pier car park, seen one fish about 5lb.
Blanked, but at least I was fishing, thats the main thing.
Trying again tonight.

think everyone else blanked, we ended up there too after trying whitley bay, but nowt. apparently the one fish caught was 7lb.. grim night it was.

awful night. had 3 biteless hours on the pier from 7 till just after 10. don't mind the wind and rain too much but ya need a bite or two to keep ya intrested. a few fishing the beach for the first hour or so we were there, but they soon headed for the pier blaming the weed (most didn't stop too long there either!) we heard tale also of the 5lber, that was then 7lb, and then back to 4lb, anglers ay? . anyway, someone got a decent fish off the beach last night, well done. as we came off the pier there was a couple o chaps fishing on the little beach between the pier and the little stone jetty, obviously a little bit shelter for them there, and one of them had just landed a 3lber ( or was it 6lb, or maybe it was just 2lb who knows) well done anyway lads. hoping to get out again tha mora night to use me bait up so.....................

Unlucky lads shame nowt turned up for ya's.

one of the lads from our club had 2 codling from the right of the car park last night, 2 fish for 3lb odd.

the bigger fish further north towards the pier was also mentioned.

dribbs and drabs on the beach last night, most of the fish seemed to come from cambois area.
