Well done jim and to all that fished especially the north lads for bringing the trophy home, i fished goaties for the first 2 hours lost 2 fish on second and third cast then not a touch for the rest of the night but enjoyed the night.
A big thanks to stores and sless for organizing the night.
cheers.

Thanks lads, much appreciated, thanks to all of you that turned up too as a comp can only be as good as the people that support it. It was a really good turn out at a time when there hasn't been a lot brought to the scales. It is always a popular night and I am sure that there would be a few that fished a new mark and also a few that made new friends. Well done to all for making it a good night.

Jim.

Well done to Jim, i was up Hadston with Kela66 & Tonynufc & Paulg they all had tiddlers but i blanked :( but enjoyed the night and good to see the Trophy where it belongs!

Never known such a difficult night. I had loads of bites but I couldn't get the buggers out. Ended up with one just undersize, shame as well as it was a big fat bugger lol.

Well done Jim, and great to see such a good turn out for this years event.

Congratulations to Jim and well done to all those who took part, but the result has had me thinking (a very bad thing) being stuck at work on a 12 hour nightshift wasn't that bad after all.

Great turn out and big well done to Jim for what must be one of the most expensive 2lb Codlings in the North East...good to see the Trophy come home too :D

as to the fishing - that's me for the season I think, dire doesn't put it into words...seriously dissillusioned with it at present :(

Well done Jim. I fished druridge and got 7 flatties but all between 20 and 26cms apart from the one I weighed in which was over 30. My mate (clarky) had 3 flatties and a rockling, all undersize. If only one more of them fish were sized the trophy should have stayed where it belonged. Saying that well done north team - spit lol

Nice to see some of the lads I haven't seen for a while although couldn't meet everyone like I would have liked to. Even though it sound corny maybe next time we could have a little intro so we can all put names to faces. Didn't want to ask everyone what they were called on nesa
