Jarrow tonight

Had a short session down jarra jetty tonight, got there for around 7 pm and fished untill around 9:30 so only had a couple of hours (due to the wind ). Anyways it was a couple of hours well worth it resulting in 2 fish.

A flattie


And a nice fat 4lb'er


The wind started to get worse and with me being happy with what I had caught all ready I decided to call it a night as it was starting to get impossible to detect bites but al be out the mora to use me bait up.

The flattie went back, bait used was lug.

well done chrissy mate ya box is starting to freeze owa lol i was there last sunday after the amble open had loads of live bait from lug to crab and after a few hours i was going to bait up and the lot started to freeze lol but i had a canny day and nite lasted from 6 in mornin till 2 the next mornin i pulled 10fish out ov jarra and f@@k all out of craster for the open so at least i went home happy .. well done mate

Haha he ripped that down the next day man the dick. Nar mate I was on the proper jetty its easier to get on now cos some of the fence has been cut so ya dont have to swing round any.more

Nice fish mate, looks like the only decent one to come from the Jarrow area yesterday.
We fished the tunnel area and blanked. Take it you never fished the tunnel area as never seen a fish come in. Were you fishing the oil jetty by any chance?

Cheers and and yes mate it was from the jetty. hard lines on the blanking better luck next time, I was with 2 mates and there was 2 other lads I new on the jetty who also blanked. Guess I got a bit of luck

Ive been down Jarrow javong a look, I found the area near the tunnel, next to the Skate Park... Where about is this Jetty form the Skate Park, I might give it a blast soon....

Rite well just keep goin along that bottom road past the skate park take the left turn off when you get to the shell mex, follow that road round past bedes world and down the bank, take the left turn at the bottom of the bank next to the church you'll come to a car park at the bottom of that road just go strate past that and follow the little road up along side the river don till you come to the end and thats it mate. You'll see a little path way through the trees were people have walked go through there and theres a big hole in the fence to get in.
