Now that tope is a fish of a lifetime and I can understand how pleased you must be and to land a tope that size is some going in that tide race well done.

Did you use braid on the reel ?

How did you manage to get to the mark as its a bit out of the way on foot.

I've fished the point of ayre for the tope lots of times but never beached a tope of that size, a 30lber is a good fish but a 60lb plus is outstanding fish,again well done.

Was using Daiwa Tournament 15lb mono stuffs like rope on a 515mag and a afaw tournament match rod. Them rods would stop a steam train mind you, the reel is not well though straight to ICU

What a fantastic week and a great report. Such an achievement. My old mate was there last week and he text me telling me that you had caught a tremendous fish. He had fish to 25lb and was over the moon.
