ireland trip

had a great time in ireland
i caught 16 different species
including a red bream that won me 100 euros
and a trophy for the most unusual fish
the skipper has not seen one in 20 years
i also got a few spotted rays(1st time for me)

our boat was the best by far
the winner won with 21 different species
including a specimen 7 lb tub gurnard(great photo i got)
the heaviest fish went to malcolm burns 54lb blue shark
(on the other boat)

there was 4 specimen fish caught
red,grey and tub gurnards

had the bad trip this year
he lost a rod and reel off the top of the boat
he lost a rig wallet and when he tried to gaff a fish his walkman fell out of his pocket and pulled the plugs from his ears and sank
he also snapped his uptider
expensive trip for him

there were another 2 rods and reels lost in bad weather off the other boat

skull won the skippers comp a bottle of black bush
and me and skull beat everyone at darts
i was on form with 180\'s and my finishing was great
the food was great,steaks every night
a few beers
more women than you could shake a stick at
only funning
and im home safe and sound
15 stone 10 lb

and im on a diet now

only 347 days for our next trip
