how far is it from hebburn marina to other side of river

i was only mentioning andy green because you said technique plays a big part and that a good big caster will beat a good little caster and andy green is little and you dont see many of the big lads hitting 300 yards i wasnt having a dig or anything infact ive got a lot of respect for someone willing to put the effort into learning to cast the distance you lads can achieve

Nee bother Ray, ;) its alright, but, the big-little rule is usually the case, there are exeptions to the rule though.
I never met Andy Green but noticed that he was beat by bigger lads in the UKSF, but he also beat a lot more lads that were bigger than him. Paul Kerry would be a good argument for the slimmer man, I have never had the chance to see him cast and probrably never will but for a man that looks so slim he must be very powerful.

By the way I\'m just a wonna be not a top caster, probrably a never gonna be actually. :(

BriH your probably right....but i wasnt fishing just casting.

stephen you are a Bu**shitter like, you came in and said \" i casted the length of the tyne\" BLAH BLAH BLAH

and i said aye probably futher down from the marina coz it isnt that far.....Like i said it doesnt look 200yards....looks about 150yards where i am onna bout.

Well personally a don\'t know what yous are arguing for id rather cast in the middle then reach the other side because if you were on the other side you would just be trying to cast where you were casting from :D :D ditance in cating only really matters when fishing off a beach or off some rocks (Skeers) :D :D and you say your 6ft tall jonny you look kind of small on that photo ;)
