I know the river aln is out of bounds,
but does anyone know what the boundary is for fishing the beach at Alnmouth

From what i understand, you can fish the whole beach at alnmouth aslong as you are not fishing from the banks of the river aln? That's how i have always interpreted it correct me if i'm wrong anyone?

*As long as you are casting into open sea, you are allowed to fish there, so basically if your at where the river meets the sea casting into open sea your good to go*

That's right.
If anybody is fishing at the river mouth, please be very careful...the current there can be wicked. It has claimed lives in the not too distant past.

As Tony said you must cast out in an Easterly direction. Tony and I have just been to Greys to pick up the prizes, Wow, it is going to be a good one this year if you catch a fish if not Cracking raffle prize as usual . Many thanks to Dave Storey for the copies of the Codling Crouch he donated. Pie and peas on the menu at the Radcliffe club after the weigh in.
