I'm going to be a grandad at last :D:D:D. All you grandads out there will know how chuffed i am feeling, due in February thats a couple of months before next years season starts for me to get in the swing of things....:D;).

LOL, Thanks for the replies lads, the wallet is certainly going to get a battering Duncan, Mrs Jester is already compiling a shopping list. Can you get booster seats for boats :D,
 
congraulations mate, if you need any tips about looking after grand kids give me a holler, some free advice, as soon as the nipper can walk, get a waterproof all in one suit, wellies, and always trake a spare set of clothes where ever you go. Let the nipper run free, I take mine to the beach or local nature reserve. Plenty excersice and mental stimulation.
 
Thanks for that Alan and Eddie, waterproof romper suit :D, sounds like you spend quite a bit of time with the grand kids Alan, when the time comes i'll tap into your wealth of child minding knowledge..:D;)

looked after three over the last ten years until the oldest ones started school, youngest now three, they all want to come and stay, wonder why.

I love kids me, I went to school with them.

I would imagine the best part about grandchildren is you can hand them back.

I bet your three are fighting fit Alan, all that exercise and a mackeral diet.
 
Congratulations Chris,hope everything goes ok,DONT volunteer for nappy changing you can guarantee girl or boy they will hit you nearly everytime lol,(ps never hold baby above head with no nappy on deadly aim they have)i have 12 grandkids ranging from 16yrs down to 8mth and as Alan said they all would like to stay thats because we get dafter and softer as we get older.
 
congrats mate thats smashing news another fisherman or woman to the family for ya bet your over the moon ohh and if ya need any practice you could always borrow my 2 boys for a couple of hours lol
 
Thanks for the replies lads, some humorous ones as well :D....specially Deano offering me his 2 boys for practice :o, i cant hear you on the phone for kids screaming in the background mate, so i'll pass on that..:D:D;).

Fisherman58, 12 Grandkids :o, i'll have to buy a charter boat if it gets to that stage...with baby changing facilities of course.:D
