I spend my holidays here and the owners opened at Trout Fishery last year,theres fish at 25lb plus and is well stocked and is getting a bit of a reputation for producing some nice double figure fish,its located at Creetown which is about 6 miles east of Newton Stewart in South West Scotland,so if the sea fishing is poor or you fancy a change call in for a session,I can give you more details on directions etc if required.

just booked up to stay on the farm for a week on the 27th never fished this particular loch before but stayed in newton stewart a few times and usually fish the newton stewart angling assosiation waters. looking forward to pulling one of those double figure fish out now ,we can see the loch from our cottage window so ave been told they have there own phesantry as well so phesant and trout for tea (hopefully).

you wont be disapointed lads,Fishman its litterally 20 yards to the Fishery/Loch the photo in the link is more or less from the front of the cottages,have you just booked it or has it been booked for a while

just booked up on sunday alan. wife just started new job and cant take any holidays so me and my mate are away for a weeks fishing and the occasional bevy or two. just was looking on the web for some were to stay and spotted there site sent them a e mail and was quite suprised when they said it was vacant. might have to buy a bigger landing net now to land these big fish.
 
John I\'ve emailed you again,could you reply to it as I\'ve just changed my ISP,I can receive with my old address but I cant send anymore so I\'m busy changing my email settings around to my new Address,think it has settled down now :D
