oright lads john is holding another sweepstake this friday the 3rd of december fishing from 7pm till 12.00am. weigh in from 12 till 12.45am £10 entry all in all out for heaviest fish. depending on how many fish may pay out for 1st 2nd 3rd. please register in the shop this week or before 6.15 on friday. any more quistions please phone the shop or call in. cheers.

where in hartlepool can ya get loads of dabs,any daft arse can catch a heaviest fish,where's the skill & competiveness in that,i can understand heaviest fish 1st,but i think i can speak for many other anglers that a heaviest bag as well makes it more interesting,CHEERS.

not really and you can go to the river and get a bag of dabs. plus people cheat and put all their fish together and win the money so heviest fish is way better

there is no skill at all in catching a bag of dabs u nutter , 3 hook flapper with ya size 6 carp hooks and half a maddie on 1 a strip of makerel on the other and a squids tentical on the other . away ya go mate 20 dabs and ya may just get the same weight as a 3lb codling. ya can fish anywere ya want bounderies are open.

fishing was very very poor . darren dixon won with a 1lb 13oz codling and readman was 2nd with a 1lb9 codling. 9 anglers fished. 1 of the coldest nights ive fished in , in my life lol. hands cramping up etc after baiting up. nightmare. the fishing has been really really poor this past week with eastlys and lots of freshwater about the sea hasnt really coloured up.

We had some canny rattles last night where me, Aaron and Darren fished. Problem was the fish were full, they were hitting the bait once and not comming back
