Fished yesterday 1400 to 1945

Well after heading down to Roker knowing it would be massive me and my pal decided we would brave it and fish. After looking at 5 locations we decided on the River Wear hendon side, We held bottom fine so hoped maybe just maybe a big Cod would take sanctury in the river. No cod showed but soon as the tide turned we had knock after knock from whiteys i had 4 in total and my friend didnt catch any :exclam: It was very windy and the rain was relentless but i had a rod in the water so i was happy.

Had a drive down roker pier today with the little one, Parked in car park next to ratty watching the pier get an absolute battering off some monsterous waves. Saw two lads fishing off the ramp into the bay next to ratty felt for them as I sat in a warm car drinking hot chocolate
