Durham Police SAC 17/4/16 Hendon Prom

Well 13 seniors and a junior turned out for the first Comp of 2016 at Hendon Prom fished in bright sunshine and a good sea with plenty of colour in it. Nice conditions for fish you'd think. WRONG..... Kev Woodcock fishing second Bay was into a nice 30cm Flounder almost straight away setting the pace, and soon had another measuring 29cm before anyone had troubled the scorer.
A few of the lads had the odd small fish out with Barry Johnson pushing Kev all the way with a Flounder of 29cm and a canny Coley measuring 34cm from the third Bay.
But with what looked ideal conditions, the fishing was poor...
I blame my manbola, man flu, sun, Earth,wind,fire,cloud, mist, rain, air pressure, bait, rigs, 300yd cast, white worm,live peeler, and anything else I can think of for me blanking ��....well done Kev. Miracles do happen !!! Spend your winnings wisely, I will be back and the Ell Blanco hat will soon be returned to yourself !!!! Well done
Comp was fished using Samf scoring system with any fish over 18cms scoring and all fish returned

1st Kev(30yd cast) Woodcock. Two fish for 62pts inc H/F
2nd Baz (31yd cast) Johnson Two fish for 58pts
3rd Steve Simpson 1 fish for 24pts
4th Dave Woodcock 2 fish for 20pts
5th Pete Chadwick 1 fish for 8pts
6th Alan Lunn 1 fish for 5pts
The rest shared the Mexican Ell Blanco Hat apart from me as it plays havoc with my hair !!
