Digging bait

Hello all, I am after some places to dig some good lug worm where u don't need a massive tide. I am not after it to sell it I just want it for my use. Any help would be appreciated.

Most local places are out dug:( Whitburn used to hold a few nice worm as did hendon beach --Also the long gone bartram's bay in the south docks this was a sneaky digging place as you werent allowed in there:o:rolleyes::D:D:D for good lug now you have to travel West is still the best

Some lads spend a lot of their precious time off driving all over the place, spending a fortune on fuel, experimenting, looking for worms. Digging a bit here; moving, digging there, moving again until they find a good place.
I can completely understand why not many people are willing to divulge on an open fishing forum where they have found good quality worms. If they did, the place would be dug out within weeks.
Other than the already mentioned places there aren't many places local where good quality worm can be dug on shorter tides.
I know a lot of people are travelling over west to secret locations they've found or up to Scotland.
Don't take it personally that you aren't receiving lists of good digging spots.
People work hard to find worms and aren't willing to give that knowledge away.

It's no secret that good quality black lugworm can be dug or pumped on Blackpool and Morecambe beaches if that's any help.

If you find any good spots in the north east where you can get big lugworm on small tides remember to let us all know by posting on here please.
