fishing was steady away with fresh mackeral on hockeyes doing the bizz.
Towards the end of the day Douggie went about a half a mile off shore on the way back into Craster. One of the lads got this lovely 7lb pollack.

I put some fire jelly ail worms on and scored a 4lb pollack.
All in all a good day with some nice bags of fish caught.
As far as i know Bill (our oldest competitor) won heaviest fish with a Ling. This was about 7 1/2 pound.

Aye Norman my heart was in my mouth for a short while but the cod just fell short.
Douggie said his son had had Pollack to 10lb a couple of days before so i tried the shads but had no luck with them.
