Me , mad rob , Codfather 145 and Fishingmark had a little £1 comp for the longest fish
We fished in the bunker with 2 rods each it was very windy and the fishing was slow we all got small stuff then I reeled in and hooked in a lost rig with a 30 cm whiting on butt the lads wouldn't allow it
After a few hours we all fished the bay side and 3 of us caught fish to 26 cms
Fishingmark got a tiny pollack and a scorpion fish for the species hunt and Stevie got a scorpion fish for his

There was 3 Chinese lads fishing just down from us I couldn't believe what we saw when they were casting out they were walking to the middle of the pier then running towards the railings then jumping up and then casting it was like something from tekeshis castle
We finished the session down near the beach before the fella came along and locked the gates
The sea had a lovely roll on looked perfect for cod or bass but not to be
Looking forward to the flattie charity event at clachy next Saturday for little Derek hopefully alot turn out for a great cause

nice one mick im down clatchy tomorrow at 7:30ish with one of the lads for a few hours before the pier, hope i catch a few.

btw should have had the lob in a pot :)

We'll done on getting a few fish out, and lmao at the Chinese lads, should have video'd them!

I fished the '43 and a half' mark on ssp from 3pm till 9pm today - blanked, not much getting caught by anyone, was one 2lber up near the sw corner. Conditions looked really good as well with a big swell rolling in, but nowt happening.

Not the best day fish wise but a good day out. Got two more species so I'm happy. The run up casting from the Chinese kid was the highlight of the day.

great report and some belter photos, well done lads. p.s. who won the comp. lol.

Steve won the comp Bill with a 27cm codling. All of the codling were between 25 and 27cm from the end of the pier. Rob had a bigger one later on from further down the pier but it didn't count because he caught it with his second rod.
