Crabstick crew hunted but failed

Me. Mad rob and outcast Chris decided to go on the cod hunt so headed to the lower Tyne pier at 6 and set up 1/2 way along just past the arches as you could see spray coming over from the other side
There was people walking up who only lasted 5 mins getting soaked and then back off again
We fished till about 10 with 1 dab for our efforts ....forgot to mention I dragged it out after a long fight lol

Decided to walk back to the gates as it was getting to dodgy to fish. We had a chuck off the top wall what a waste of time. Chris headed off home so me and rob headed to the second bay at hendon prom. After 3 casts and couldn't hold bottom decided to pack up and go the the world famous rathouse for a bit shelter from the rain and snow fished until 3ish with the odd rattle
Waste of petrol, bait, time and effort but you catch nothing sitting in your kip
But at least I never blanked hehehe

Good effort mate" the sea at hendon was hitting the gas tanks had to be 50ft spray maybe higher..
I didn't see any rain or snow today, but I think we are going to get some snow Tuesday and Wednesday quite a bit by the look of the forcast.
Northerly winds for the whole week so this sea just going to get bigger and the tides are building too.

Unlucky lads. I'd have thought there would have been plenty about this weekend. The fish will probably come in while were stuck at graft.
