Me mad rob and Chris outcast Adams fished the above from 7.30 till 4.30 in the morning looking for cod. After some advice from broonshoe we fished a different spot from usual and great advice it was mate
1st cast had a codling of 1.5lb nice start and Chris had a 2lb coalie lovely fish but it went quiet for a couple of hours until rob pulled in a small whiting. A few more hours went by but as high tide approached we thought our chances would be better
A cocktail of blacks n squid and got a nice bite resulting in a 2lb codling . 15 mins later and a lovely pull down resulting in a slack liner . Reeled in the line and struck into a lovely codling of 4lb 7oz 2ozs shy of my pb but buzzing.
By now Chris was a sleep on the beach and Rob getting a cracking bite resulting in a lovely 4lb 3ozs codling
All in all a nice 8lb bag of fish for me and a quality fish for mad rob . Lovely warm night no lost gear and a few fish suppers happydays lol
