Fished last two and a half hours of flood this morning beside the steps, lots of good quality flounders best 1lb 11oz. Had around 20 fish in total (was using 3 rods though) one double shot amongst them. All fish taken on frozen runnydown and macky. Would probably had more but had to keep bringing my lines in lots of boats going in from the boathouse on a Sunday. Not complaining though plenty nice girlie rowers from the university in tight lycra !!!!
Was suprised at the good stamp of fish, probably averaging over 1lb since i had a couple of short sessions here earlier in the week with lots of smaller, palm sized flats, assumed the better ones had moved out to spawn, obviously not.
Good sport on the light gear. Just debating wether to fish a couple of hours upto high water tonight or not.

Guess I was lucky getting the car off the grass the other day.
Bit of speed up and just go for it, but won't try it again while the grass is so wet.

Wooo Hooo got my wembley ticket queued out since 5-30 am got served at 10am. Should be a good one (£90)
Bit too late to catch enough of the tide to go fishing before work now so might give it a go tomorrow. Anyway today was more about getting my ticket !
