Christmas Spirit Part 2 !!!!!!!!!!

auction, donation?

auction, donation?

It looks like me and the rest of us who have made a bid have done the wrong thing here, it did start as a donation to a needy angler with a donation going to the rnli, then grew into an auction for a very needy cause, but the nature of an auction is to raise as much cash as possible or am I wrong?
From my point of view im a boat angler first and formost I might do 10 shore fishing trips a year, I have read and been on this site for a few years spent hours every week reading reports of trips and catches for FREE cost me nothing so me donating £50 to a charity which ever one it is good value for me in my eyes it just so happens that 2 charities were going to benefit all the better, If my bid was wrong then I apologies retract it if you wish, if not let the bidding continue, or give the needy angler the gear job done.
DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO COMPLICATED?

Gary and the rest of the folks out there I was not out to make any profit in this
I thought i was bidding in the name of xmas spirit , I said i would auction the lot of that gear for charity if i won on ebay to make life easier and open it to a biggger market possibly, I do realise that it looks like (james i think his name was) is going to miss out on this for the good of the charity, but I will kit him out with some gear myself to get him up and running,

Its no problem mate, just seems a shame to give money to eBay. Lol

Anyway, bids up to 60 quid now and I have had a donation to add £25 on top of whatever the final is.

So its all good so far.

Cheers lads

Great offer mate, so that issue is sorted. Get bidding lads, if I was local I would bid, but if I won it would probably cost more to send it to me! Well done to one and all for their kindness and I hope the winning bid is a high one. :)
