Canny session lower tyne

Me and john findley headed for whitley beach for about 5 ish got set up and cast out to find weed on its way up my line and it made fishing impossible , packed up and headed to tynemouth . 1st cast I was into a nice pouting just shy of 1lb , couple of casts later I got a codling of one 1lb . Johhny pulled in a flounder and a nice dab , then came the fish off the nyt nice codling just under 3 lb made my nyt first half decent fish off the season ,jonnhy then landed another another flounder to end the nyt we fished from 6-11 . Baits used blacks mussell and fresh lug

Aye was a good night lads! It was a bit quiet at the start for me but managed three flatties out always better than the blank tho!looking forward to this winter and hoping to beat me pb of 7 lb with a double figure

Hi mate, it was me fishing the back wall at the start of the night. Moved around to the riverside, went dead after you left, you never missed out. Waste of crab and lug. Ended up with one size cod, one undersized, 2 flounders, 38cm whiting and a rocking all on 3/0 cod baits.

Glad I never missed out mate sound makes me feel a bit better , did I speak to u at one point ? Pple on the bottom were basically casting over us by 11 but I had ran out by then anyway
