Haven't been out fishing much lately so first catch report in a while.
Headed up to Cambois with Mark, to give our Continental rods a run out on the beach, both Blackrock Comp Surf 15'
Within a few minutes of my first cast and the rod went! and I pulled in a Bass to christen my Blackrock; caught on a two hook flapper with a size 4 blue Mustad
Then, a few hours went by and high tide came and went without even a knock for either of us; so we moved a bit further up the beach.
Again, my first cast produced a fish, just a Flounder this time though, caught close-in on mackerel, a couple more casts and I got a couple more good size flounders.
Mark eventually managed to catch a fish! a Flounder; then a good knock on his big rod turned out to be another Bass.
We stuck it out for another half hour but nothing happened so we called it a day, and Mark pulled in another flounder; a bit of a slow, rainy day but we both got our target, and good crack as usual.
