Boat Yard Royal Quays-break in

As many will already know the boat yard was done over at the weekend at the Royal Quays and a few boats broken into, the marina itself is safe as houses but the boat yard is abit exposed and a big area to cover.

For anyone that has not already been informed and has a boat in the yard it will be worth checking it over or removing anything of value just incase they tried it again. I am told a couple boats on the chains got done a few weeks back and Blyth Marina also had a couple done and it sounds like they know what to go for, radios, gps, engine parts, outboards etc.

That's bad news mate,the scum's crawling all over this time of year,Maryport was done a couple of years ago same thing dinghies nav gear and the likes.
There be no doubt notice up saying no liability of marina.

All RQ's berth holders got an email today advising of the break in. Also, within the email the RQ's marina have stated that they will review the boatyard security. Maybe they'll electrify the fence and fry the bxxxxsrds!!!
