I will look into it Jason but have no idea where to get it from..be good on the 3 mark x's just out there, infact the last cod of the 2009 season was from there.

I will be putting the gear back on at the weekend for sure and like to fit a trip in before stingrays week out the water in few weeks time.

TGW what do you know about pussers greys bloody wafu's LOL. I spent longer on one wave than you lot normally spend at sea LOL.

would be best to stear clear of the marina this weekend as they are open to visitors on saturday and normally get around 10k visiting - it will be choka.

LOL in fairness the closest I got to a Carrier was 2 nights on the Invincible during a Pompey Airshow...one of our cabs was on deck for display and me and another lad were the duty mechanics :D

did spend 3 weeks on a Dutch ship in a NATO exercise...so in my short Naval career I managed less than a month at sea....good going I thought :D (join the Navy and go to sea?? no ta :D)

I had a tour last year when she was in port. Better see her again incase she is off to protect our new found oil supply so we can go boat fishing :)

Send the whole task force as a statement of intent :)

Back onto fishing..how the hell do you fish that cart? once you put a hook in it wont it just wash out in a couple of mind or just rip open and spill out and if you dont put a hole in it the bait trail wont make it out.

It looks good stuff but finding it hard to get my head around how the hell you get it/ keep it and fish it on the hook.

you bind the bait on the back of your hook and pierce the cling film in several places it then defrosts and allows all the natural crab stuff to seap out. you buy it in inch deep kilo trays which are frozen (it is just the inerds of an edible crab) you then slice it into baits around 3 inches by an inch wrap in clingfilm and freeze again. keep in a bait flask when out until needed and nip the clingfilm with your hook and bind on.

if you search the whitby sea anglers website there are lots of articles on there.
