Boat fishing tommorow few people needed

Just replying to boblydons post, you are wrong as it was not me that posted the original. I have seen posts of members enquiring about going out boat fishing many times on this site. In this case I saw an offer followed by a load of abuse. Totally unacceptable!!

As is having more than 1 account. IP addresses reveal a great deal

two users on my pc, me and my son - but not for much longer!

This thread started with a lad seeing if anyone as interested in going fishing - doing a good deed. You have lost 2 members and pos others - I hope you's all feel good!!

Vdaddy keep doing the decent thing and ignore these jokers!!

I must be missing something, Lordsnot, could you plaese tell me which posts, replies where abusive, read them a few times and cant see anything that can be construed as being abusive, I've had a lot "funnier" replies to some of my posts. But there again i can take a bit of micky taking.

ok snotty, have a look back before you get too sniffy

a new user says he needs a few people for a boat trip.

no mention of the fact it was a charter boat and would likely cost folks money, several people respond with variations of 'Who what where and more info needed if you want to be taken seriously'

no abuse there. you however seem rather quick to name call, and then spit the dummy out and inform us we've lost 2 members - with a total post count of half a dozen between them none saying anything of interest

so it looks like we're really gonna miss you're input in the future

I can't see any "abuse" either Alan, maybe they are just a lot more sensitive than the rest of us "muppets"

I'm shocked to hear you've had your leg pulled on here Alan

Yyou will hear from my lawyer, well that is if I can control the laughetr long enough.

Hi Mark - No dummy spitting at all mate, it just seems this forum malarky must not be for me!

I appologise if anyone took offence to my reply. However I encourage people to take up fishing, and the way I read the post was a heavy mick take of someone making an offer to get people on the water. Nobody enjoys a laugh more than me, but lets not make fun of people trying to do a good deed and get people out fishing. I had supped a few beers when I wrote my reply, which might have had something to do with the tone (which I appologised for earlier). I sincerley did not intend to create an escallating argument.

Tight lines to all and I don't mean snags!!

I spotted this post and was genuinly interested but decided not to get involved because of lack of info and a new member. If I'd known it was a a charter party I might just have packed me kit and joined you

How about a catch report if you did ok?

i would have probs went along also if prices were given and times ect i was probs out on my own boat but im always wanting to go along with others who can teach me a thing or 2 about this boat fishing malrkey lol

Graham, (Obickta) you probably put it better than anyone else mate. Due to the amount of heed the balls we have had joining this site over the last few months, everything has had to be taken at face value.

Any member of NESA could have thought that this was a wind up. vdaddystuv, I am certainly not having a pop at you as you made the post with the best of intentions. I read it when it was first made and honestly did not know what to make of it. I do agree that a couple of members did take the micky about it, one of them has apologised for it but the other has not. He probably does not realise that he was taking the micky as he seems to have a strange sense of humour

Most members of NESA would have thought exactly the same as I did and reacted that way or ignored it completely. If you have a trip booked in future and it is not full, please let us know as I am sure you will get a better response if the members know all of the facts.

Let the members know if it is a private boat or a charter, how many places are available. I am sure you would get a much better response mate, don't give up as I am sure you have lots to give to the site and also there will be much information you could also use from the site ;)

Jim.

I had read about some geezers bobbing about in the North Sea hanging on to a petrol can and decided I'm too old and fat for that shenanigan. I'm usally up for anything that involves fishing or beer but it was lack of info that put me off. No offence or disrespect meant to the anglers who started the thread and I'm sure they meant well but you did ask for it. Anyhow, I hope you're not put off by a bit of daftyness on both sides of the arguement cos nesa can be a mine of information for anglers and a laugh at the same time:)

Seeing as I've had a few whiskeys (Grants cherry cask and special offer at the min in morrisons) I'm posting a pic.
