Blyth Pier - have seen at all now

Misses had friends round, so needed to get out the house for a few hours. No bait ready for a last minute trip so went to Blyth to stock up on Mackey for Arbroath this winter.
Set up about 20 metres from the crowds on the end. Anyhow, after half hour there, what only could be described as the scum of the earth walked on the pier. Around 5 lads, drunk/drugged up, followed by 5 women (with cans in bags).
Within in 10 minutes, one of them decides to strip to his shorts, climb over the railings at the end of the pier, and threaten to jump in the river side! Could hardly stand never mind swim in a river mouth between 2 piers on the flood. Wouldn't of stood a chance if he jumped. F'ing and blinding with kids about. Anyhow he was coaxed down and back inside the railings. One of the women at a guess 50, starts rolling down the pier! I sh*t you not, rolling along the pier. Have experienced ****ed up lads on pier ends in summer before but this took the ****.
Not a massive fan of piers anyhow but think I will be getting my mackerel for the freezer from the rock edges from now on. People like this will get places like Blyth pier closed for genuine anglers. Especially the elder anglers who can't rock hop no more.
Anyhow, 10 mackerel in 2 hours now in the freezer. Rant over!

the pier is just an extension of the scum that live in the town, that's why it's the worst. best to get on at first light or just before to avoid the idiots
