Blyth Pier 27/7/09 Night

Another weekly trip owt lads

M8 & i arrived at blyth pier for 9ish, got to end n startin settin up... fished from 9.30pm to 7.30am this morn.

Baits: me (rag, mac & peeler crab) m8 (rag, mac & squid)

Rigs: me (1up 1down) m8 (1up 1down & pulley rigs)

I had 2 rods & me m8 had 1 rod..

Night started off canny and carried on being another very enjoyable night

In correct order also, enjoy.

SunSet 9:52pm.

Got 2 whiten at 10:18pm Double Catch.

Got 1 whiten at 10:56pm canny one.

Then my m8 came in with a whiten lol (about time) 11:20pm.

Then i got another whiten at 11:53, Bit bigger

Caught another whiten 13mins later lol 12:06am.

Whiten again hmmm... at this point i thought nowt more was gonna catch apart from whitens 12:30am.

Caught a codling at 1:30am was chuffed as i aint caught one since feb i reckon. worth an hours wait.

Too my surprise another whiten at 1:46am.

Caught alil flattie think its a dab.. please confirm lads cheers 3:18am.

Get in a nice plaice or flounder? at 4:03am.

They say two's a crowd haha took 2 whiten at 4:20am Double Catch.

Get in another nice dab or flounder? at 5:07am.

My m8 did catch 2lil flatties but released them before i could get a pic.

I did catch another alil flattie & 2 lil whiten & a 1ft eel bah! but no pics as i just chucked them back in.

Did catch one macky whilst reelin my bait rod in lol latched on

Well done mate, looks like an eventful session. Deffo a dab that first one, middle one might be a plaice (bit hard to tell) & last one's a flounder. Looks like there's plenty of whiting around - glad the tip paid off!

Canny mingers ahreet peeler got me codling and 2whiten & 2 decent flatties. Thanks was a good nights fishing just with 2rods kicks ass when its fishing well.

Cheers and aye there's plenty of whiten action.. casted out right and as the weight started to sink bam!! another one nee lies, soooo quick they are! and aye thanks for the tip.. took awhile though until light came up

Aye its been fishing well now for hmmmm.. month now... thats on night fishing like, and aye canny bag lol only kept 4 decent whiten for 1 of me pals as hes on a white meat diet
