Had a run up to blyth last night got there about 2 hrs before bottom got set up was quite at first with just 1 coley which was returned got down to slack with nowt happening but once the tide turned the bites started first bite was a massive pull which resulted in a fish stuck behind a sand bar which I just couldn't shift so lost that one then managed to pull out a couple of nice codling and also lost another in the surf so not a bad nights fishing would have been nice to land a few more on the beach but that's life :)

Nice one mate can't wait to step foot off this island and back on the rock edges in a few weeks "hopefully with a nice sea rolling". not used to these long trips away without my fishing gear I feel lost haha .
