Blyth beach not Lynemouth LOL 30.11.09

Well after having a run of three blanks and feelin abit sorry for myself thought about blyth pier again and looked at sea n thought nope the beach next to pipe anyway fished it 2 hours down and 2 up lovely comfy dry night bait frozen crab lug and razor took one on crab then other two on lug/razor there were a few fish pulled in best I saw was about 5lb by one of the south beach club lads good bit crack to quite a few down but not daft packed.

I managed three out best 3 1/4lb I took a photo of the two and then had last cast and got the third wish it worked all the time lol.
Met Bigman from here in the carpark had a canny chat and pleased to meet you mate

Thats me needing 11 for the 50 now

I'm sure there will be alot of fish about from tonight but thats my effort

Well done mate - I'd thought the sea would still be bigger than it was so didn't take my waders, rod stand etc tonight so ended up on the pier but only got one small codling. thought the beach looked much nicer & speaking to a few lads in the car park seems like a few were had from the beach tonight!

Which pipe were you fishing at, the one near the south harbour (stubblies) or the one near the back of the ranch?

I fished the pier this morning from 5 - 9 and blanked.

thats exactly how it happened it was weird Bill all the fish were full of sandeel.

Dazzer it was the pipe straight down next to the pier carpark.

The way you are fishing you will soon have 100 not 50.
Only managed 2 fish on the pier, herd there was a couple more landed, but not many, the beach was the place to be.
