BLACKROCK COMPETITION SURF SS10 TYPE R /cobra gt

anyone used both the tronixpro cobra gt and the BLACKROCK COMPETITION SURF SS10 TYPE R rods ?,is there much between them,i know the cobra has a spliced glass tip and the blackrock doesn't.the cora is a £100 quid more so is it a much better rod

I owned the blackrock lovely 3 piece conti rod very pokey I had a extra tip built which was stiffer great rod 4 the price had plenty hounds on it to 9lb last year great sport
