Jim, Strone is our plan B when the seal, or drunken boys are at Blairmore!

I have to say, a poor second choice, as the venue is broken down, the Mackerel are nowhere near as prevalent.......... but as you say, it does have pub :red:

Fantastic report Kayos m8 and the pics are great too and like you say your never too old to learn from fellow anglers as i would rather fish for mackerel with about 8 daylights on as you can feel the power pulling them in .great.and it looks like Katie was enjoying her fag and her drink in the sunshine what we call a well earned rest ha-ha.so well done to the pair of you.

LOL, love the report as already mentioned the best macky report I've read on here yet. Those pink crocs must make you a legend around those parts lol, I really love the look of Blairmore it looks an amazing place.

It really is a fantastic place to fish Pete and reasonably quiet. It is just far enough out of the way to make it a full day out. Gourock, where I live has a pier and it is mobbed every day, so we never fish there.

The pink crocs started out as just a laugh, but now I wear them because of the extreme reaction it gets from guys, quite hilarious
