Beacons last night

fished beacons 7pm - midnight, nice session after the wind stopped trying to blow us off the edge, dispite calm sea's i ended up with 1 cod for 4lb and a coalie for 1 1/4 lbs , my mate robbie got a coalie about the same size so needless to say i was smileing on the long walk back.

hi Sjonar drive to church point in newbiggin to park your car then walk north about half a mile up the side of the golf corse till you reach the point at the top of the bay, basicly the beacons spans a few hundred yards of a rocky headland just cast where you feel is the best place check it out on google earth you cant miss it.

hmm possibly the photo doesnt do the fish justice but i can assure you the scales are just fine lads, taised just fine to , 1lb 6oz i would love to see the 1lber that curls all the way around the kitchen sink corner to corner lol, i'll keep you updated with bigger fish photos and scales shots next time ;p

Who knows what size your sink is mate? For all we know it could be a massive sink and a 10lber but you're just not wanting to brag too much lol. I'm sure your scales are fine and I personally would never doubt a fish unless i saw it in someone's hands

give the lad a break,looks a decent fish to me,well over 2lb,canny gut on it,we ask for photos and updates of peoples sessions and then doubt them when its done,its just the way he has took the pic of fish,well done mate

lol srry lads i did get trolled a bit couldnt belive it on second post on here, but yeah was a good session, i was expecting a couple of coalies at most on small tide and flat sea's. hopefully more to come when the sea comes up over friday and sat should be dropping off thru sunday so tight lines.
